New York based artist

Andrea D'Aquino

is cleverly taking

collage art

to new extremes.

She has been

combining cutouts

of construction paper

with crayons and markers

and plenty of unique

materials in between.

She manages

to crafting her own

playful realities

that resemble worlds

somehow childish yet wise.

Like voodoo practices

stuck inside

of long forgotten dreams.

Like journal entries

that demand more

than just a pen or pencil.

While her

Instagram account

is full of one-off pieces

and stop motion animation,

D'Aquino also

has a series

of books on her website,

including Alice's

Adventures in Wonderland,

which is how I found out

about her work.
