Blend up a clock

and try to tell time.

Climb out of loud

pill bottles. Red eyes

focusing on phantom

squeezes. She closes

her eyes and smiles

as the prescription inside

of her sets fire.

We stop the melting

with overgrowth

viruses. We risk

it all each night.
