Sebastian Castillo dances
so nicely within
the micro form.
49 Venezuelan Novels
is Castillo's newest book
released through Bottlecap Press
where each story
is packed nicely
within a single paragraph.
These are prose poems,
these are microfictions,
these are mystic fables,
these are Venezuelan novels
full of surreal imagination.
Like a baby vomiting
up paintings. Like living
on the roof of a skyscraper.
Like residing in a landfill.
Like poetry written
on eviction notices.
I've included two
of my favorite samples
from the book,
and if you like what you see,
be sure to grab it
for only $12
over at Bottlecap's website.
