Last year,

I grabbed a zine

and cassette combo

between caffeinated collaborators

Dewey Saunders

and Ed Christof.

Saunders handled the collage

based imagery

while Christof

curated the coffee bean

inspired tunes.

The zine features strong

and psychedelic imagery

with philosophical wisdom

and lyrical beauty,

pairing well with the sunrise

tunes found on the cassette.

Both items match perfectly

with a morning cup

of exotic home brewed java.

While copies are currently

all sold out

(you should still visit

Saunders' store),

you can enjoy

the Coffee Wave Two

mix up above

as well as the original

mix from back in 2015

down below.

Coffeewave is a collaboration between myself and visual artist Dewey Saunders, originally released as a limited edition zine/cassette combo "Coffeewave is a term Ed and Dewey have been bouncing back and forth for a few months. Ed selected a handful of coffee bean inspired jams that Dewey sipped on for inspiration and assembled into a new series of collages. They got together for a mellow drip coffee session and matched up the tracks with the fresh artwork as inspiration. This was a caffeinated collaboration based on a mutual passion for eclectic mixes, strong Guatemalan coffee, and psychedelic visuals. These are the coffee waves; morning music for your daily grind."
